Introducing Little Mouse Lost...Again
- Sneak Peek -

With Little Mouse in her pocket, she climbs each tall peak,
Stopping to dip her toes into a fast-running creek.
Little Girl doesn’t notice, as Little mouse slips away,
Falling to the ground, landing on piles of dirt and clay.
She races right by her and in the distance spots a bear,
She dances along river rocks and twirls without a care.
“Little Mouse needs to see all this!” Little Girl laughs with glee,
She reaches into her pocket, trying to set her free.
“Oh no!” Little Girl starts to panic, “Where could she be?”
With tears her eyes, she tries not to let Mama see.

At SkaneBones Publishing we strive to write and publish books that are not only cute and relatable stories, but also have underlying themes that promote important values. Little Mouse Lost addresses gender inequality in children's books and features a strong female lead who showcases her independence and persistence. Little Mouse Lost....Again features RAK (Random Act of Kindness) by strangers not expecting a thank you and reminds us how important it is to be kind.
Below, is a recent social media post by one of our closest friends.
This is kindness in action and Little Girl, Little Mouse, and everyone here at SkaneBones Publishing approve!!

"In the storm yesterday, while running errands, Imogen lost her Bunny. We stopped by Home Depot today to see if Bunny had turned up. An employee had found her in the parking lot wet, dirty, and snowy, hand washed her, tucked her into a little basket with a blanket, and fed her some carrots Immy was thrilled to be reunited!!! I am so grateful for people who spend their extra minutes making the world kinder and sweeter."
